About Mitchell
Mitchell is a recent graduate from the University of Southern California, having been conferred a BFA in Musical Theatre from the School of the Dramatic Arts. His passion for theatre and storytelling brought him to apprentice in Scenic Design at Encore Theatrical LA (ETLA) in tandem with his professional acting training. With 11 years of performing under his belt, Mitchell brings a unique perspective to theatre - both onstage and back.
Mitchell’s Scenic credits range from a lighthearted, impressionistic rendition of Seussical to a sobering, realistic rendition of Les Misérables. He debuted as co-designer of Legally Blonde with ETLA, and worked closely with ETLA to design elements of Matilda, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Sweeney Todd.
Mitchell works now as a freelance Scenic Designer and Builder / Painter. Recent credits include: Assassins and Myths and Hymns at the University of Southern California, and Avenue Q at the historic GEM Theatre in Garden Grove, CA.
